Photography close to home has it advantages. Due to its closeness, It is easy to visit a location in a short time in all possible lighting and weather conditions. It also gives more time to focus on optimizing a preferred composition. Furthermore, it gives more room for getting more knowledge of a specific location.

For me a little harbour close to home is a perfect location to revisit frequently. I visited this location several times this month (July) and I have planned to revisit this location in all seasons of the year. I am curious how this location will change.

I have included colour versions and black and white versions of two visits.

All images are shot with my Fujifilm 33mm f1.4 lens and post processed with Capture One pro.

My most favourite colour picture until now is the featured one of this post. I hope to get even better lighting conditions to create a more colourful version without a lot of post processing. I will make a print of this image.
