Wittem visible light and infrared
The month of May hasn’t been exiting for photography. I decided to change the time of day to do photography. At a late afternoon on the 20th I went to Wittem.
At the highest point of Wittem there is an interesting location for landscape photography. At this location you will find some beautiful trees standing in a big rolling meadow. Due to a storm some trees are gone. Still this location has some resemblance with the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany Italy.
I stayed for 2 hours on the same location to catch the best light conditions. I shot a vertical and horizontal frame of the same composition. At the location I decided to shoot in infrared black and white and black and white in the visible light spectrum. This way you can clearly see the difference between a black and white infrared image and a black and white image of the visible light.
It was windy, cloudy and the light changed rapidly. While swapping cameras on my tripod I missed the best condition at a few seconds for the visible light versions. The visible light versions do present some more depth due to the grass in the foreground.
My favourite image is the featured one of this post.
I hope you like the images
